Drink Of The Week : Beach Bum

This weeks drink of the week isn’t just a euphemism for getting sand in your swim trunks, but is instead a term used to describe a homeless person living on the bea–. Scratch that I’m getting new information. I’m being told that the Beach Bum is actually a delicious drink that mixes 6 kinds of alcohol, wow I like this definition a lot better. It’s like my fancy “coffee” mug says: “Life’s a beach, get drunk.” (It used to say get over it but a marker, creative thinking, and booze resulted in a masterpiece.) There is no better way to enjoy this drink than with sun on your face and sand between your toes but if you can’t make it to the beach you still have options. Make it through enough of these drinks and your neighbors sandbox is an excellent substitution for the real thing.

• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Gin
• 1 oz Light Rum
• 1 oz Peach Schnapps
• 1 oz Melon Schnapps
• 1 oz 151

Mixers

• 1/3 Sour
• 1/3 Orange Juice
• 1/3 Pineapple Juice

Instructions

 

• Fill Glass With Ice
• Add Alcohols In Order Of Preference
• Add Mixers To Taste
• Stir & Enjoy!
